Catamaran Corporation was a pharmacy benefits management (PBM) company based in the United States. The company was founded in 1998 and was headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Catamaran provided a range of services to help manage prescription drug benefits for health plans, employers, and government entities. These services included claims processing, formulary management, generic drug utilization management, mail-order pharmacy services, and specialty pharmacy services.

In 2015, Catamaran Corporation merged with OptumRx, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, to create one of the largest PBMs in the United States. The combined company serves millions of customers and manages billions of dollars in pharmacy spend.

Prior to the merger, Catamaran Corporation was listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the ticker symbol "CTRX." However, since the merger, the company's stock is no longer traded on the NASDAQ or any other stock exchange.
