Southpeak Interactive Corp

Southpeak Interactive Corp was a publicly traded video game publisher based in the United States. The company was founded in 1998 and was headquartered in Plano, Texas.

Southpeak Interactive published and distributed interactive entertainment software for various platforms, including consoles, handheld systems, and personal computers. Some of the company's well-known titles included Two Worlds, a fantasy role-playing game, and Section 8, a first-person shooter.

Southpeak Interactive was listed on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) under the ticker symbol "SKP" and later on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) under the ticker symbol "SWPK." However, the company faced financial difficulties and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2011.

Following the bankruptcy, Southpeak Interactive's assets were acquired by Nordic Games (now THQ Nordic) in 2012. Today, THQ Nordic continues to publish and distribute many of the former Southpeak Interactive's titles.
