Time Warner Inc

Time Warner Inc. was a multinational media corporation headquartered in New York City. It was one of the largest entertainment companies in the world, with significant operations in film and television. Time Warner was formed in 1990 through a merger of Time Inc. and Warner Communications.

Time Warner's main divisions included:

* Warner Bros. Entertainment: This division included the film, television, and videogame studios of Time Warner. Warner Bros. Pictures produced and distributed films, while Warner Bros. Television produced and distributed television shows. The division also included Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, which developed and published videogames.

* Home Box Office (HBO): This division operated premium cable and satellite television networks, including HBO, Cinemax, and HBO Go.

* Turner Broadcasting System: This division operated cable networks, including TNT, TBS, CNN, Cartoon Network, and Turner Classic Movies. It also operated the sports website Bleacher Report.

* WarnerMedia News & Sports: This division operated news and sports broadcasting, including CNN, NBA TV, and TCM.

In June 2018, AT&T acquired Time Warner in a deal worth $85 billion. The deal created WarnerMedia, a subsidiary of AT&T that includes all of Time Warner's assets, including HBO, Warner Bros., and Turner Broadcasting System.

Time Warner's stock was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol "TWX" before it was acquired by AT&T.
